    Fiber from Fruits Help Manage Blood Sugar

 “Its better to eat the whole fruit rather than just drinking its juice. Fiber in fruits reduces the absorption of sugars in your intestine and so your blood glucose and blood fructose don’t spike, which then makes your insulin don’t spike either. “This is according to Dr. Robert Lustig, an Endocrinologist, during his lecture in Shangri-La Hotel in Makati on metabolic syndrome entitled “Fats and Sugar: Friends or Foes”.
