• VENOUS INSUFFICIENCY (VARICOSE VEINS) “A double-blind
  placebo-controlled study of 71 subjects found that grape seeds
  OPCs, taken at dose of 100mg 3 times daily, significally improved
  major symptoms, including heaviness and leg discomfort”.
• AROMATASE INHIBITOR FOR BREAST CANCER RISKS “Grape seed
  as Natural Breast cancer chemoprotetive Agent and as Aromatase
  Inhibitor (AI) for Breast Cancer risk. Research priorities: Explaining
  nutritional pathways for prevention of breast cancer.
• REDUCING BLOOD PRESSURE AND HIGH-CHOLESTEROL “A month
  study involved 24 male and female patients diagnosed with metabolic
  syndrome. This first group received a placebo, while the second and third
  groups received 150mg and 300mg, respectively, of a new grape extract.
  Result was, the participants in to groups receiving grape seed extracts
  experienced an equal degree of reduced blood pressure. The average
  drop on systolic pressure was 12mm while 8mm for diastolic pressure
  said study’s lead researcher, C. Tissa Kapaggoda, professor of
  cardiovascular medicine and director of Preventive Cardiology Program
  of UC Davis. Groups taking 300mg of grape seed extracts also had
  reduced serum oxidized LDL cholesterol level.
